Tolhuin, Argentina, closes an Argentine Sign Language workshop for municipal customer-service staff
The disability office of the municipality of Tolhuin, Tierra del Fuego, closed its Argentine Sign Language (LSA) workshop for public-facing staff, taught by Stella Maris Ruiz Díaz. Almost 40 people took part in the course, which aims to reduce the communication barriers Deaf people face when making enquiries and using public services.
