Acre, Brazil, wraps Libras interpreter training for teachers, led by Deaf educators
Acre's state education department finished a continuing-education course in Rio Branco for teacher-interpreters of Brazilian Sign Language (Libras), focused on classifiers and access for Deaf public-school students. Officials said Deaf teachers who are native Libras users led the training, with partner instructors from the Federal University of Acre.
