Students at the Rhode Island School for the Deaf got their street renamed from Corliss Park to Jeanie Lippitt Circle, honoring the deaf advocate who helped found the school. They petitioned their city councilor and testified at City Hall; the new signs went up Oct. 2 for the school's 150th anniversary.
