Shooting at White House Correspondents' Dinner On Saturday night, a gunman tried to break into the White House Correspondents' Dinner and shoot President Trump and top members of his cabinet, but he was stopped by security. The suspect is Cole Tomas Allen (31). He was charged with attempting to assassinate Trump.
