Bluey Collaboration: Sign & Seek

Today, during National Week of Deaf People, we have a super exciting announcement to share! You might remember that a few years ago, we worked with Bluey to bring us Dougie – a Deaf dog who uses Auslan. Now, we’re thrilled to announce a brand-new collaboration with ABC Kids called ‘Bluey’s Auslan Sign & Seek’! From 3–4 October, ABC Kids will host a special Bluey marathon weekend, featuring Auslan-translated episodes that will be broadcast on TV for the first time ever! But that’s not all. There’s also a fun game for viewers to take part in. Across the weekend, you’ll see 24 different versions of the Bluey theme song, each featuring Auslan signs in place of some of the usual lyrics. The signed words will give viewers clues about things to look out for in each episode – turning watching Bluey into a fun game of Sign & Seek! Everyone can join in, whether you’re Deaf or hearing. Keep your eyes peeled and see how many signs and clues you can spot! How exciting! This special campaign has been made possible through the amazing collaboration between ABC Kids, the creators of Bluey, Ludo Studio, Leo Australia, and narrated by the voice of Jack’s Dad, beloved comedian Hamish Blake. We’re so excited to have worked with the ABC to bring Bluey’s Auslan Sign & Seek to life, and we can’t wait to tune in next weekend ! Thanks!
