On Japan's Tsunami Disaster Prevention Day (Nov. 5), about 70 people joined a Nankai Trough earthquake and tsunami drill in central Kochi City. Deaf participants evacuated alongside others using sign-language interpreters and a smartphone app that captions speech as text, RKC Kochi Broadcasting reports via Yahoo! News.
