Trump touts “miracle cure” for two-year-old previously deaf boy

President Trump introduced a 2-year-old boy named Travis Smith and said he was previously deaf but now can hear because of a gene therapy treatment from Regeneron. Trump’s session aligned with an announcement from the FDA that they’ve approved this gene therapy for use in the US. It is considered to be the first time in history that there’s a new drug for hearing loss. It is called Otaremeni.
