About David Brown David Brown is a renowned specialist in deafblind education and early intervention with over five decades of experience. After serving for 17 years as the Head of Family & Children Services for Sense in the UK, he relocated to California in 2000 to work with the state deafblind project and has continued consulting globally. Honored with the 2013 Deafblind International Lifetime Achievement Award, the 2023 Anne Sullivan Medal from Perkins School for the Blind, and an Honorary Doctorate of Science from Central Michigan University, David remains a vital pillar within Deafblind International as a global presenter, author, and pioneer for the CHARGE network.
