Amarillo Deaf Church invites community to 3rd annual Deaf Awareness Celebration

AMARILLO, Texas (KFDA) - The Amarillo Deaf Church invites the community to celebrate its third annual Deaf Awareness Celebration. The event will take place from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. Sept. 26 at 3817 Holiday. Organizers say attendees can learn a few signs for games, buy from deaf vendors, create an American Sign Language craft, and register for a sign class. There will also be short performances during the following times: The event will also have food trucks, a bounce house, and a raffle.
