Politecnico di Milano launches "Accessible Math" project for Deaf high school students

Politecnico di Milano has launched "Matematica Accessibile," a project led by math professor Giuseppina Guatteri that teaches high school math to Deaf students through Italian Sign Language (LIS) video lessons, images, captions and tailored materials. A network of Italian high schools has already adopted the first unit, on statistics.
