Is It Helpful To See the Body After Death?
Seeing a loved one after death can be an important part of the grieving process. For adults and even children, it can help make the loss feel more real, provide a sense of closure, and offer an opportunity to say goodbye.
There is no “right” way to grieve though. Some people find comfort in seeing the person, while others may find it too difficult or upsetting. Whether or not you choose to see the body is a deeply personal decision, and either choice is okay.
