My Mother's Spices

After her mother is hospitalized, a deaf British-Sri Lankan woman returns to her quiet childhood home, where re-creating a sacred family recipe forces her to confront the cultural fractures and deep-rooted love that bind them together. Can the space between generations truly close, or will it always hold a silence only love can fill? Starring Ruchika Jain and Sankeetha Gathani and written and directed by Nadia Nadarajah, a Slick Films production for LumoTV.
