Hawaii man convicted of attempted manslaughter of wife
A Hawaii anesthesiologist, Gerhardt Konig, was convicted of attempted manslaughter after trying to push his wife Arielle off a steep cliff and bashing her head with a rock during her birthday hike in March 2025. Arielle fought back, nearby hikers called 911, and the jury found him guilty of the lesser charge due to extreme emotional disturbance stemming from her flirty texts with a coworker—he now faces up to 20 years in prison. ----- Subscribe to “The Daily Moth” to get all of our content.
