Deaf sports hub

Where to follow USADB, Deaf basketball, and Deaflympics news

DeafMonitor gathers Deaf sports stories as they are published and sends you to the original outlet. Use this hub to reach the live Sports feed, the scoreboard, and the events calendar — including USADB basketball and Deaflympics coverage when those stories land.

What DeafMonitor covers

The Sports page is the live feed: football, basketball, soccer, baseball, swimming, track and field, hockey, Deaflympics, and esports, with filters for college, high school, and community levels. Stories are aggregated and credited — we do not replace the reporters covering Deaf athletes.

Scores is the board for live and final results from NDIAA schools, college, USADB, NSAD, and grassroots tournaments. Huddle is the free organizer toolkit that puts those games on the board. Sports gatherings also sit on the community events calendar.

For history and how the Games work, the wiki article Deaf Sports & the Deaflympics covers the 1924 International Silent Games, eligibility, visual signals, and notable athletes. For the wider Deaf media picture, see our guide to the best Deaf and ASL news sites.

Where can I find ASL sports highlights and Deaf athletes?

When sports stories include ASL or captioned video, they appear on Signing Screen alongside other Deaf-created video. Athlete news and results stay on Sports and Scores. DeafMonitor points you to the original publisher or creator rather than replacing them.

A note on coverage. DeafMonitor is a place to find Deaf sports news, not a replacement for the people reporting it. When USADB, Deaf basketball, or Deaflympics stories appear, they show up here with a link back to the outlet that published them.
